The MatrixPRO 12x8 Analog Video Switcher from Barco is a video router that accepts computer video (up to 1600x1200), composite video, S-video, component video, HDTV, and RGBHV signals. It can be used to switch RGBHV signals and two-channel balanced or unbalanced stereo audio. Each input and output is individually isolated and buffered. Inputs can be switched to any one or all outputs with no crosstalk or signal noise between channels.

Other features include input-output grouping, which allows the matrix to be divided into smaller sub-switchers for easier installation and control. Input-output grouping also permits specific outputs to be grouped together, such as those designated for a specific video format, for example. The unit features vertical interval switching to provide glitch-free switching when used with synchronous video sources. An RGB delay is used when video is not synchronously locked.

The unit can be controlled via its front-panel interface, RS-232 or RS-485 connectivity, an Ethernet port with IP control, or an optional remote control interface.
